The above vehicle is a 2015 ford mustang eco-boost convertible. It is equipped with adaptive cruise control. When a vehicle in front slows below a set speed or a vehicle cuts the car off the adaptive cruise control slows the car down, or stops it, to keep a predetermined distance. According to ford the slowing is done by the engine and not the brakes. Once the vehicle slows, and it is safe, it begins to accelerate…

I received a recall notice from ford in july of this year concerning defected air bag deployment on driver side. It is now the middle of september and no further actions have been taken. Am i to wait until an accident occurs before repairs are made, or can something be done to speed up this recall/repair process?

I took the mustang to a local dealer to have the system checked. Their conclusion was the floor mat/rug caused the problem…

Similar to the 2010 fusion problem of stuck accelerator, i have had this same problem with the 2007 ford mustang gt. This problem has occurred ever since i received the mats in june of 2007 and has occurred numerous times! The all-weather mat is sitting on top of the standard mat and slips forward. When the accelerator is depressed fully, it does get stuck under the all-weather mat. In one incident, i was on a…
