When you are driving at highway speeds, if you do not correct you would go off the road.i brought this problem to alan jay ford in sebring fl. My 2011 mustang when driving at around 40mph the traction control light come on and the front end starts to wobble it don't happen all the time. I took it to have it check and was told the rack and pinion needed to be replaced. The don't have but 56000 miles. I did some research and found out ford recall several vehicles with this same problem. From what i found out that it might be a heat over the electric gearbox

When traveling at 65 miles a hour the airbag light, traction control lights and abs light came on the vehicle also lost power steering. I was told that because the airbag light was on the airbags would not function. Dealers report that rear driver hub driver side caused the issue. Dealer refused to cover under warranty even though airbag system was still under warranty.

Tamara recall, the traction light come on and off the power steering failure light come on and makes a screeching noise, and the power steering gets extremely stiff in turns like it's about to lock up. The car only has 44,000 miles. All this happened while on a city street when turning. It's the electric power steering/ rack and pinion. There are a lot of post on youtube as well.
