A 2006 ford mustang, with 5400 miles on the odometer, was involved in a two vehicle traffic collision. The driver of the mustang rear ended a ford ranger pickup truck at approximately 40 mph. Upon impact, the airbag of the mustang failed to deploy and the driver's seat belt failed to lock and restrain the driver.
