Driving on interstate highway at 70 mph in very high crosswind conditions when the hood began to vibrate wildly and the latch released. Secondary latch caught the hood before it completely flew up. I slammed the hood shut and was able to complete my trip but the high winds still made the hood shake and vibrate.
